In the Elizabethan Era, when English was old and boring, Shakespeare came along and practically reinvented our modern language! He shaped what modern English is today. What is thought of as "Old English" is not this. Old English was practiced in the Medieval Era, about 700 years before this dialect. The dialect this translator uses is commonly referred to as "Old English," but is actually known as Shakespearean Dialect, Shakespearean English, or New Elizabethan English.
