This is a simple online "
disemvowelling" tool; it removes vowels from your text so that you are left with only consonants. For example:
> The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog
Gets converted into:
> Th qck brwn fx jmps vr th lzy dg
Note that sometimes the letter "y" is considered a vowel. For example in "Bryan", the "y" is the only source of a voewl sound for the first syllable, so it is considered a vowel. So when "y" doesn't have another vowel with it in its syllable, it's usually considered a vowel.
For simplicity, this translator only removes the regular vowels: a e i o u.
