Norosian is the language of Norsemen who settled in Ingria, Russia, around the 7th century. The grammar and base vocabulary comes from Old Norse, but a large part of the more advanced vocabulary has also been borrowed from Russian and surrounding minority languages such as Veps and Karelian.
