Navarian Translator

This translator converts between English and Navarian (Navarisk), the primary native language of the fictional country of Navyara.
Navarisk is a Germanic-Romance hybrid language with strong Scandinavian influence. It developed from an older Danish-derived North Germanic language spoken in Navyara before the country's independence from Denmark in 1526. Following independence, Navarisk was influenced by Swedish, Latin, German, French, and other Romance languages, eventually developing into a distinct language rather than remaining a Danish dialect. English influence also became increasingly important during the 20th century.
Standard Navarisk is based primarily on the dialect of Frodenmark, the capital and historical center of education, government, religion, and language standardization. Navyara also has eleven major regional dialects: Navarisk, Bravinar, Almorien, Lustrik, Celvanish, Thyrosk, Vondren, Navellen, Elimish, Eclen, and Dralovin. These dialects share a common linguistic foundation but differ in pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, and historical influence.
The language combines Germanic and Romance vocabulary and structures while retaining noticeable Scandinavian characteristics. For example, “Dei” means “God,” “elska” means “love,” “lucen” means “light,” “truvet” means “faith,” and “heimel” means “home.”
The translator is intended to provide both English-to-Navarisk and Navarisk-to-English translations while following the established vocabulary, grammar, spelling, and word-order rules of Standard Navarisk. It is designed to allow Navarisk to function as a complete fictional language rather than simply as a collection of translated words and phrases.
Navarisk is used in everyday conversation, education, government, literature, religion, music, media, and other areas of life throughout Navyara. English is also an official language of the country and is widely used in international communication.
