Nagal Translator

Nagal is the primary language of the Obsidians. Derived from Scandinavian and Germanic languages, it was developed by the Board of Quality Control following the Dark Revolt during the re-engineering of Obsidian culture from a Mongolian-based patriarchy to a Nordic-based matriarchy.

Nagal is noted for being able to convey complex, context-specific emotions in single words. However because Obsidian culture was engineered to be primitive, Nagal lacks the language to describe ideas and concepts beyond the experiences and expectations of Obsidian society.
