yeah mistria brainrot is real. HUGE shoutout to u/CaesarSalad34 on reddit because they did all the work finding equivalents for the letters and all, I just did my best to find symbols that match up. Note that:
- Vowels are just. absent in this language, unless they're at the start of a word, in which case you use the ⊹ symbol regardless of what vowel it is for that single vowel. I tried to accomodate for this but it might work better if you try to apply that rule to your inputted text (i.e. face becomes fc, but actor becomes ctr)
- We don't have examples for every consonant so there are quite a few missing. I'll try to update this as we get more info, but currently only about 11 characters (not including the vowel symbol) are present. Well there's also the "sh" combo that has its own symbol despite.. both s and h not having their own symbols.... we dont talk about it
- Currently, Fields of Mistria is in early access, and English is the only supported language. I don't know if they'll edit the fake language on signs for other languages when they're added, but as it stands, this is basically a really simple and incomplete cypher with special rules lmao
- I just grabbed the best-fitting symbol for the examples u/CaesarSalad34 was able to find Latin character equivalents for; I tried to avoid using ones that are part of real languages, but seriously the options were ass 😭 if there is a character for a real language used, I swear it's not meant as disrespect or anything, it's literally just because it was the closest thing to the in-game example (this includes symbols used for other stuff too. yes im aware i used the pi symbol for f, it's literally just the closest thing)
