LOLcat is subcategory of cat memes which exploded n popularity in 2007 and throughout 2008 and 2009. They typically feature a cute of funny cat and some text which (usually) conveys the cat's current thoughts or speech at the time of the photo. Here's an example:
I iz speaking LOLcat?
Along with the influx of captioned cat images, a form of English naturally emerged which sought to emphasise the cuteness of the photographed cats. The LOLcat language is characterised by many of the phonetic and syntactical mistakes made by young children. Irregular verbs are conjugated (e.g. "I wented to the shops"), uncountable nouns are incorrectly pluralised ("I haz a money."), and numerous spelling mistakes are made.
This translator attempts to convert your english into LOLcat colloquialisms, but it's a work in progress. If you have any suggestions, please put them in the suggestions form!
