This converter adds hats to English letters. It works for most letters beside:
Ff, Ll, Mm, Nn, Qq, Rr, Tt and Vv
Also, the letters Bb, Dd, Kk, Pp, and Xx are rather peculiar. They only appear as if they were successfully converted, and there's actually no corresponding hat-symbol for them. As a result, the hat is not going to show up precisely on top of these letters if they are copied and pasted elsewhere; instead, they will show up as the original letter followed by ^.
Since afterall there exists no hat-symbol for these letters, the hats you see in the output of the converter were only superposed onto them. An effect that demonstrates this subtle difference is that these letters appear doubly hatted if an input word starts with one of them, due to them being hatted once as a prefix and once as a constituent letter. This does not happen for the other letters since they have their own hat-symbol to start with.
