Want to generate your own 乇乂丅尺卂 丅卄工匚匚 text? Well, you've come to the right place! This is a simple "extra thicc" text generator. Simplly put your normal text in the first box and the extra thicc text will be output in the second one.
You'll notice that there's 3 different variations of this kanji "font". The first one is the most commonly used extra thicc text. After these kanji text font things you'll see a bunch of other fancy text fonts that you can copy and paste. I included these because I'd put together the code for them for another translator so I figured, why not? Hopefully the other ones are useful to some people :)

Extra Thicc

The extra thicc meme comes from a Samurai Jack episode (Season 4 Episode 48) where Aku (the villain) orders an "extra thick" henchman to kill Samurai Jack. This was a somewhat well-known scene in the Samurai Jack fandom, but it became much bigger when the term "thicc" became popular. "Thicc" is a slang term that is used to describe a big butt and curvy waist. This term started to become popular towards the end of 2016.
At around the same time a YouTuber uploaded a 13 second edited version of the phone call scene and titled the video "extra thicc". You can watch that video by clicking here:

This, and other videos remixing the same scene soon went viral.

Japanese Text

It's unclear exactly where the extra thicc japenese text comes from, but some of the earlier viral videos featured titles that used full-width text, and so it may have evolved from that. Full-width text is used by the vaporwave/aesthetic community and has been picked up by the broader meme/copypasta community. Twitch copypastas like this one may have been one of the earliest uses of the "extra thicc" text in full japanese/kanji style:
> In japan we don't say 'I love you' we say 乇乂ㄒ尺卂 ㄒ卄丨匚匚 which doesn't mean anything it just spells out 'Extra Thicc' in japanese symbols.
This has become known as the "extra thicc copypasta".

I hope this extra thicc text converter thing helps you out, and if you've got any feedback, please feel free to leave it in the suggestions form. Note that only a certain subset of normal Latin/English characters have visually equivalent/similar Japanese characters, and there's not too much I can do about that (you could lobby Unicode if you want!). But if you come across some more Unicode characters that you thing would be good translations for characters that don't currently have kanji/hirigana/katakana swaps, then please let me know!
