The languages used are mainly from a novel I am attempting to write.
Some basic stuff:
Ter'Alean is spoken with a bit of a lisp, and the sound of it is very far back in one’s throat— much like Russian in desert and tundra areas, and like German in forest and field areas.
In this language, only a very few words have a proper plural form. Most plurals go for times, like days, weeks, and months.
No earth nouns are used in this, and as such they will not translate. Things like “cat”, “dog” and “bicycle” would not be used on their planet.
If something doesn’t translate that you think should be translating, let me know! Lots of words still aren’t in the index. Also, if a plural word is still in English, tell me so I can change it to the word for its singular form. All messages should go here!:
