English to New Kemetic Translator

by Maldesh

New Kemetic is an Afro-Asiatic conlanguage created by Miked7936, also known as Maldesh, a hobbyist linguist, Furry, YouTuber, and Egyptologist. The language is a derived language/unofficial descendant of Middle Egyptian, as 80% of its words come from Middle Egyptian. The only difference is New Kemetic has new words for modernized things like phones, computers, etc, and uses SVO, while Middle Egyptian isn't modernized and uses VSO. However, it is still considered a derived language/unofficial descendant.
Middle Egyptian was spoken for about 700 years, from around 2000 BC to 1300 BC, during the Middle Kingdom and the Second Intermediate Period of Egypt. It was also the main written language of hieroglyphic inscriptions and literature until the Roman period. Middle Egyptian belongs to the Afroasiatic language family and has some affinities with Berber and Semitic languages. It has a complex verbal system, a rich nominal morphology, and a variety of word formation processes, such as compounding, derivation, and reduplication.
Middle Egyptian is one of the best-documented ancient languages, thanks to the large corpus of surviving texts, such as the Pyramid Texts, the Coffin Texts, the Story of Sinuhe, the Instructions of Ptahhotep, and the Book of the Dead. However, the language is not fully understood, and many aspects of its grammar, phonology, and lexicon are still debated or unknown. Moreover, the language has been extinct for millennia and has no living descendants or speakers.
