Emperian is a constructed language I created for the fictional isle of Emperia for my web series, Regal City Dorks. A constructed language is, “a language that has been artificially created rather than having evolved naturally through use”. Other examples of constructed languages include Esperanto, Klingon, Na’vi, Hylian, Dothraki, or Sindarin. Emperian is essentially an amalgam of English, Spanish, Norwegian, and Japanese, and even has its own writing system based on Korean Hangul and Japanese Hiragana and Katakana (Not shown here because of lingojam's limitations). This project was created just for fun, but I hope you enjoy speaking and writing a made up language! Have fun!
