The Cyrillic script is a script used by East & South Slavic Languages today. It is based on the Greek script and the Glagolitic script, It was invented by 2 orthodox saints named Cyril and Methodius, It first appeared in Bulgaria for the Old Church Slavonic language, then it spread across all of the East & South Slavic languages, it also spread to some Altaic languages (Kazakh, Uzbek, Turkmen, Kyrgyz, Tajik, Tatar, Mongolian, etc.) during the Soviet times.
