This is an cursive font generator that you can use to change the font of your instagram captions, bio, or other social meda account like facebook, tumblr, twitter etc. It should work fine on phones so you can copy and paste the text straight from your phone online rather than having to get an app or whatever (and it's free!).
To generate the cursive font, just type some text into the first box, and it'll appear in the other box. So if you type "cursive font generator" it'll output 2 variations of "𝒸𝓊𝓇𝓈𝒾𝓋𝑒 𝒻𝑜𝓃𝓉 𝑔𝑒𝓃𝑒𝓇𝒶𝓉𝑜𝓇" - one like that and a bold one.
People generally think that it's ASCII text that's being generated, bu infact, it's "unicode" - a larger standard for textual characters that includes the ASCII characters. So infact, it's incorrect to call these characters a "font" - they're just symbols from the ASCII standard that are a part of fonts. But we call them cursive fonts because they look (and act, in a sense) like fonts.
However, unlike fonts, we can copy and paste them wherever we want and the "font" is preserved. If it was infact a font, it would be impossible to copy and paste them to other websites, because the font is chosen by the website creator, not by what you paste into a status box or whatever.
There are a couple of other cursive variations that I've seen around, but they're fairly messy and aren't the actual unicode cursive font. If that's what you're looking for though, I'm happy to add them - just let me know in the comments.
