Coalition Standard Translator

Nongrammatical analytic universal language

Coalition standard is the shared language of the Qal peoples, with a Callimi and a Terrellian dialect, mainly distinguished through differing vocabulary based on the root words.
-el is a suffix used for emphasis, think saying a CERTAIN word louder in an English sentence.
When words are seperated by a slash, the former is the Terellian (or standard) and the latter is the Callimi.
Features geminated consonants. Two consonants together means the sound is longer, like in Italian. Sebbi is not the same as Sebi.
To describe when an action takes place, the verb changes positon in relation to the subject.
I eat kelp -> I have eaten kelp Eat I kelp -> I eat kelp I kelp eat -> I will eat kelp
MUTATION: Coalition Standard also has a consonant mutation to denote plural forms. Below is a summary of correspondences.
B -> P D -> D G -> K X -> Q
If a syllable is left with no vowel after it, its final consonants follow these patterns:
B -> V D -> DH G -> X
P -> F T -> TH K -> X
Xadry = Qad of the Water Qadry = The Qad'rii
' Appears between any dental and labial fricative and other consonants. Vr -> V'r Sv -> S'v Ft -> F't
'H after the initial consonant means it forms a seperate syllable. "Vh'rassk" is a two syllable word in Coalition Standard. This is applied to masculine words.
Note: Qad' physiology does not allow for true velars like K, G and X. The sounds in a true Qad'rii accent would correspond to the Gill consonents, made by pushing air through the gills. Obviously, a human can't do this, so K, G and X are good enough substitutes.
Pronouns are:
His Her His 2 (Type "Its", this is for the Anmale gender) Our Ourex (Exclusive, meaning "Us and not you") Yours Thy (Singular "Yours) alls (Communal pronoun, eg, "Everyone's")
