BOX DRAWING GRAPHICS CREATOR Translator

┝┯┥

TIP: Turn auto-correct off for a better experience.
Box-drawing characters are typographical symbols which are used to form shapes, particularly rectangles. This “translator” allows you to type these in and form your own graphics out of them.
Each box-drawing character is formed from a combination of four letters, each representing a line in one side of the character. Order it left-up-down-right (e.g. eheh=┗). Unfortunately, not all possible combinations will correspond to a box-drawing character. To place an empty region, type “eeee” for a wide space (technically called an “ideographic space”).
Here is a reference guide to what each letter means: e = empty, no line in its direction h = hard, a bold line in its direction s = soft, a soft line in its direction
The following characters are currently supported: • Straight lines (hard/soft) • Corners (hard/soft/hard&soft) • T-junctions (hard/soft/hard&soft) • Four-way junctions (hard/soft/hard&soft) • Empty region
