Avian is a Germanic language with influences from the West-Germanic languages of English, Dutch and German and the North-Germanic languages of Danish, Norwegian and Swedish. It gets most of it's words from English, Dutch and Norwegian though.
Situated in the North Sea, Avia is an island which is about 62km² or 24mi² in size. It used to be part of the Danish Empire and later was owned by Norway for a short while, however the country had vastly different views and opinions than Norway so got it's independence on May 6th 2021 after a successful referendum passed with 71.9% voting in favour of independence.
Avia gets it's wealth from oil mining inside the North Sea as well as a powerful service industry, which pays very well.
