Hello! This is a text font changer that you can use to generate aesthetic text styles for use in your social media bios and posts/captions. There are a few different aesthetic font styles that I know of. The text fonts here include vaporwave/wide-text and Japanese-style text, and also small text - i.e. subscript/superscript. I've tried to include as much variety as possible. Which one you choose will probably depend on whether you're going for a more soft aesthetic style or something more towards the vaporwave end of the spectrum. You can also scroll down to see a big collection of other fancy fonts that aren't specifically "aesthetic", but which might be able to be included as part of your stylish bio or post.
You can copy and paste the aesthetic letters into your bio so long as the social media platform that you're using allows it. It should work for Amino, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr, and in many other places. The only thing is, some platforms only allow fancy text fonts in specific places (e.g. some allow it in usernames, others don't).
If you're wondering how this works, keep reading :)
Okay, so how is it possible to copy and paste these special characters from this site to another one? And if it is possible, then why isn't it possible to just go to a generic "fonts" website and copy (for example) the Comic Sans font and use that in your posts/bio? Well, here's the thing: The aesthetic "fonts" generated by this webpage aren't actually fonts at all! They're actually just special characters that are part of
all fonts. Regular keyboards can only hold about 100 characters, but there are actually tens of thousands of (
Unicode) characters in existence! So this page just lets you generate characters that you can't generate with your keyboard. There are all sorts of interesting characters in Unicode that have been added over the years (for various non-English languages, and industry-specific purposes) and did you know that emojis are also just regular Unicode characters? Yep! It's all just text. Fonts are things that get "applied
over" text characters to change their style a bit, but this generate just picks out characters that look a bit like the regular alphabet characters and replaces your text with them.
So there you have it! To put it very simply, this website switches out the characters of your text with Unicode characters/symbols that look similar, but have slightly (or very) different shapes to create some nice visual effects in the resulting text - so they look like different (aesthetic) fonts! And this is why you're able to copy and paste them whereas you would not be able to do this for actual fonts.
